WCFA Fall Conference- ** Cancelled**

Dear WCFA members;

This year has been a very challenging year for everyone so far and to make it even more depressing it’s been decided to cancel the annual WCFA fall conference in Chilliwack this coming October.

This wasn’t an easy decision in any way but with the way things are going with the Covid-19 for people from a financial point of view, of travel we thought it was best to get ahead of this to let people make other plans.

This won’t be a popular decision by some but heritage park has cancelled all venues through August as well as big events such as the PNE also being cancelled this year.

We plan to host in October 2021 with Chad Chance and Travis Burns provided they are available and we will keep everyone in the association updated as we go forward.

We want to thank everyone that has invested time and effort into this years planning of the fall conference as well as send out a thank you to all of the competitions and clinics organizers that have had their events postponed or cancelled because of the Covid-19.

Also to all of our sponsors, we appreciate everything you do and look forward to next year as without you, these events wouldn’t happening.

As this also affected our annual general meeting there will be news shortly on how and when that will be facilitated as this has never happened before.

From all of us at the WCFA fall conference we hope everyone and their family makes it through this episode safely and we will see you all soon, stay safe and happy shoeing everyone.

Jamie Poulos.

High Country Horseshoes Spring Clinic- **Cancelled**

High Country Horseshoes is saddened to announce that due to the current Covid-19 situation, we will have to cancel our annual Spring Clinic this year.

We have been discussing with Delta Mustad Hoofcare Center (this years sponsor) on what we can do for our customers. We feel we have come up with some good news!

We are offering our Farriers our usual clinic discount during the week of May 4th-8th.

As we are still not able to have customers into the store, you may phone, fax or email us your order and you will receive the usual clinic discount of 10% off your ONE TIME order of shoes, nails, tools, pads and hoof care products (some exceptions may apply)

BONUS……Delta Mustad has generously offered an EXTRA 10% off Mustad branded shoes & nails also!!!

We will make arrangements with you when you place your order for when you can pick it up (or we can ship it to you)

Thank you for all your co- operation during this challenging time.

Work safe & stay safe!

Canadian Horseshoeing Championships- **Cancelled**

It is with a heavy heart that we have to postpone the Canadian Horseshoeing Championships scheduled for April 4-5th at Ancaster Fairgrounds.

With the rapidly changing closures of borders, facilities and events, in addition to the cancellation of flights- this will have a negative effect on turnout and may make it impossible for many contestants to make it, or return home. Compounded with our responsibility for the health of all contestants, sponsors and attendees, we have make the decision to postpone the event until further notice.

As soon as more information is available, it will be posted.
