Emergencies in BC Equine Community

Date / Time: Jun 1, 2022 07:00 PM Pacific Time (US and Canada)

Horse Council BC and Animal Health Emergency Management invite you to a free informative webinar that will help you better prepare and understand the impact of a disease outbreak within the equine sector.

The Animal Health Emergency Management team will guide you through scenarios and offer processes and procedures to help mitigate the impacts should a disease impact your farm or industry.  Learn form experts in the field of disease management with guests from the Ministry of Agriculture, Canadian Food Inspection Agency and veterinarians

An animal health emergency gives you little to no warning but requires you to respond immediately. Planning and preparing how you will respond in the face of an emergency can mitigate the risks and the impacts to your animals, your people, your business, and your industry.
The Animal Health Emergency Management (AHEM) Project has developed resources for BC Horse Council members to guide your preparations for disease related emergencies.
